The 10th annual Everett Home and Garden Show is approaching! It will be held at the Everett Comcast Arena on March 8th, 9th, and 10th. Hundreds of booths will be available for you to find exactly what you need (or want!) for your home and garden.

Visit our booth, located in the concourse area, to learn about our N-Viro Plant and Lawn Care division as well as some good pest management information. Don’t forget to enter our drawing to win free prizes! Whether you are taking a look under the microscope at some bugs or learning about the seasonal weeds, you are guaranteed to have a good time!

Originally from Denver, Carl attended Colorado State University with a major in Microbiology. Carl has gained experience with lawns and landscape by working in Colorado at Organo-Lawn for 5 years. Before Organo-Lawn, Carl worked for the Colorado Mosquito Control. Welcome to the team, Carl!

Welcome Back Christie

Pratt Pest Management is proud to announce the return of Christie Harrel to our office staff.

Christie worked as an administrative assistant for five years at Pratt before taking some time off to pursue her passion for volunteer theatre in the Mount Vernon area.

Christie has worked behind the scenes and appeared in several performances for the River Belle Dinner Theater such as Blithe Spirit, Hallelujah Girls, and A Christmas Carol. In the Stanwood area, she has performed with the Camwood Players in the Female version of The Odd Couple. Not only has she had the opportunity to perform live, but on camera as well! Christie participated in a short film named In Ink, with Yardarm Entertainment in Everett. When she isn’t busy in the spotlight or on camera, Christie enjoys singing with the Harmony Northwest Women’s A Capella Chorus in Mount Vernon or with the Broadway Babes in La Conner.

Before joining the Pratt team, Christie worked for Manpower Professional for 8 years as a Recruiter and an Administrative Assistant. Prior to that, she worked for Dean R. Shore Companies as an IT Manager and an Administrative Assistant for 17 years. With her ample experience and friendly attitude, it is a delight to have Christie here with us again.

New Operations Manager

Pratt Pest Management is proud to announce the appointment of Jerry Murphy as our new Operations Manager.

Jerry Murphy is a long time veteran of the Structural Pest Industry. He graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Entomology (with distinction) in 1977.

Jerry has spent many years in the service, manufacturing and distribution segments of the industry. He has spent the last 10 years studying and developing protocols for Fly Control and is considered one of the pest industry’s foremost authorities on the subject.

Jerry Murphy has consulted with many pest control companies and comments: “I’ve known Pratt Pest Management and the owner, Dana, for years. It is an honor to be associated with one of the best “Technical” companies in the entire Northwest.

Jerry welcomes the return back to the service part of the structural pest industry: “After many years in the distribution and manufacturing side of the business I am enjoying being back on the front line – where the pests meet their maker”.

Jerry lived in Woodinville, WA. For 14 years but relocated to California 6 years ago. “It’s great to be back in the Northwest: Can’t wait for summer”.
